Seeing a gallery open call for an exhibition called ‘Weather Forecast’, it seemed rude not to submit something… and for the next month the image/text picture I submitted (called ‘Together’) will be part of the show in the utterly charming gallery Badger in the Wall in the Yorkshire Dales.
Together uses words and photography to explore the complex relationship between people and how we experience the elements in an urban environment, together with themes of connection and isolation. It reflects on how the weather conditions not just our physical engagement with life but creates the metaphorical landscape in which we try to make sense of it.
